You’re strong, resourceful and resilient.
But it may not feel like that sometimes, especially in the days after birth. That’s when you need support. That’s why I’m here for you.
Imagine this . . .
You’ve been up most of the night with your newborn. You’re exhausted and feeling weepy.
You’re feeling anxious (and a little resentful) your partner will be gone for most of the day.
As your postpartum doula, I arrive and will be with you for the next 5 hours. You feel relieved!
I encourage you to go take a shower while I tend to baby and prepare a healthy and easily digestible breakfast for you.
Feeling clean and refreshed, after you’re done eating, I bring you a glass of water, and sit with you while your nurse your newborn. We sit, and you share your birth experience. When tears come, I hand you a tissue and continue to listen.
When it’s time for you and baby to nap, I do some laundry and prepare a nutritious and warming lunch.
Before leaving for the day, I give you some reiki, to help you relax and heal. We make a plan for my next visit when I’ll guide you to bathe baby for the 1st time!
You feel seen, heard and well supported.
When your partner returns home, together, you snuggle (skin-to-skin) and bond.
If that sounds good to you, click the button below.
I’m here to support you.
Get loving, nurturing and expert guidance during this monumental and sacred period in your life as a woman and family.
A love note from a client...
“A friend of mine suggested that I reach out to Stephanie early into my pregnancy when I expressed anxieties over giving birth. Stephanie and I started to work together around Week 16, and now I’m a few weeks away from having the baby.
Stephanie’s taught me tools such as guided meditation and working with the breath. We also involved my husband to learned several partner poses to use during early labor. Now that I’m at the end of the pregnancy journey, Stephanie and I work on positioning to help baby shift around as the baby loves to kick me on the right side - and boy does that hurt!
I highly recommend working with Stephanie if you are interested in shifting your mindset around birthing. She helped me move from a place of fear to excitement.”
