A woman’s body undergoes radical changes throughout her life. Pregnancy, birth and the early postpartum mark significant changes, in a short amount of time. Motherhood transforms a woman’s body as well as her identity. 

Yoga for Reproductive Health changes with you, depending on your stage of motherhood and your needs. The practice strengthens, centers and calms - body, mind and spirit - while honoring your inherent power as a woman. 

Yoga has served my journey as a woman and a mother. It’s also served the hundreds of women I’ve worked with too. I trust it will support your reproductive health too, no matter where you are on your motherhood path. 

My Embodied Relaxation Method gives you tools to consciously relax and pause so you act from an empowered place of calm and confidence. You can respond to whatever the day brings, whether you’re laboring, nursing or carpooling.

Prenatal Yoga & Coaching for Childbirth - 1:1 Sessions 

Helps you strengthen your body, mind and spirit as you prepare for birth. It helps safely relieve tension and pain that can accompany your changing body and growing bump. Discover how to create optimal space in your body and breathe for calm and confidence. Childbirth education is woven into every session. Reiki can be added to enhance relaxation.

Recommended from about 15 weeks through the end of pregnancy, Weekly or bi-monthly.

Postpartum Yoga & Mindfulness - 1:1 Sessions 

Helps you recover and heal from birth while regaining your strength and stamina. Learn to safely tone your abdominals and pelvic floor, no matter how you’ve given birth. Learn how to close the diastasis recti. Build on this foundation to create your own, easy-to-do self-care practice that will nurture and restore you while raising children. 

Recommended bi-monthly from about 6 weeks - 6months postpartum

Gentle & Restorative Yoga - 1:1 Sessions 

Ideal for a mama undergoing fertility treatment, recovering from surgery or experiencing hormonal fluctuations due to perimenopause. Regain and maintain health with a focus on joint mobility, core strength and hormonal regulation. With breathing practices and some pilates-inspired movement, say good bye to stress, anxiety and back pain. Learn how to quiet your chattering mind so you can be present and sleep well.

yoga Embodied relaxation to support periods of transition

My Embodied Relaxation Method helps you transform worry, anxiety and overwhelm into safety, security and trust. By regulating your nervous system, you’ll learn how to move out of the flight, fight or freeze response and activate your relaxation response so you can support your overall health and wellness.

When this practice becomes a way of being, you’ll have tools to intuitively relieve stress and be fully present.

My Method’s ideal for periods of transition such as fertility support, pregnancy, postpartum healing, cancer care, career changes, divorce and empty nesting.

When I certified as an Integrative Therapist in 2015 with the Urban Zen Foundation, I had no idea how impactful it would be for me - personally and professionally. The practice of combining healing modalities to address and relieve common symptoms such as pain, anxiety and exhaustion - has been transformative.

As a birth doula, I witnessed its benefits during pregnancy and in the labor room, helping a mama and her partner relax throughout a long and sometimes intense labor. Babies were often born calm, and could be easily soothed.

Ultimately, I discovered the power of bringing mindfulness into every aspect of life, for myself and others. It informs how I coach, teach, doula and live. Motherhood is challenging, no matter the stage. These self-care practices can be adapted to wherever you are and whatever you need.

It’s an honor for me to support healthy families and facilitate a mother’s healing and return to wholeness, especially during the early days of parenthood.

It’s estimated that nearly 1 in 5 women in the U.S. experience perinatal anxiety or depression.
