Postpartum Doula NYC
You probably love NYC’s vibrancy, but during the early weeks postpartum, you need a nurturing and calm environment as you transition into motherhood and bond with your baby.
Whether you’ve given birth at New York Presbyterian, Mount Sinai, Lenox Hill or NYU, and no matter how you’ve given birth, your first few weeks at home will be a period of adjustment.
Even in a city full of people, postpartum can feel isolating, and it’s common to feel overwhelmed while adjusting to new parenthood. Support matters most in the early days of postpartum. Especially during your first 40 days, often referred to as “the sacred window”.
If you don’t have family or friends nearby and available, who’ll help? If you just moved into a new building, you may not even know your neighbors yet. Or maybe you’re worried about recovery from a C-section or are you’re anxious about being alone with your baby after everyone goes back to work. Perhaps you wondering how to juggle the family’s schedule.
You don’t have to do it alone. That’s where I come in.
How I Support You?
As a postpartum doula, a new mama’s needs are the priority. I aim is to create a safe, nurturing space, helping you to process your birth and adjust to the many new changes.
With physical and emotional support, you get to heal and bond with your baby without worrying about day-to-day concerns.
With my guidance, you and your partner will quickly gain confidence caring for your newborn. My goal is to foster your independence.
Whether you live on the Upper Eastside, in Flatiron or in Soho NYC, compassionate and non-judgmental support is available.
I also help with meal prep, keeping the home tidy and sibling adjustment.
With sleep disruptions and hormonal fluctuations, doesn’t it make sense to have a steady, nurturing and calm presence in your home as you adjust to your new life with a newborn and your new identity as a mother?
With expert guidance, you’ll gently navigate change, smoothly transition into motherhood and nurture your family during this sacred time.

Personalized Postpartum Support
As your postpartum doula, my aim is to provide as much support as possible in the early days. For example, I may come to your home for 3 visits the first week you’re home, for about 5 hours each visit. Over time, as you gain strength and confidence, you won't need as much support.
My goal is to ensure that, as a new mama, you are fed, resting and showered.
I provide guidance for newborn care like feeding and bathing.
I’m also listening and watching for any signs that suggest you may be struggling, especially with mental health, and can make appropriate suggestions.
I’m a nonjudgmental, listening ear. When you need to cry, I’ll hand you a tissue. As a nonjudgmental, listening ear, I hold space for YOU, as you process your birth experience.
I make sure your home is calm, relaxed and tidy.
I also check in with the rest of the family - your partner or an older child.
Ultimately, you’ll settle into a new lifestyle. My job is to make it as smooth and joyful as possible.
Why It Matters
I understand the city and the challenges of parenting in NYC. It’s not always easy. But where else in the world would you want to bring home baby?!
Your physical health matters. Your mental health matters.
I offer flexible hours, from early in the day and into the evening, to accommodate the needs of your family.
As part of your Circle of Support, I work alongside others, like a housekeeper or a night nurse, providing non-judgmental and nurturing evidence-based guidance and support.
Getting expert guidance and support in the early days is one of the best investments you can make in your healing and recovery and the health of your family.
